The first update of the year 2012 brings us 4 new Cloud Apps – and the new iOS App Driver’s Logbook, which is available for download in the Apple iTunes App Store. Let us introduce you to the newcomers…

Driver’s Logbook

Turn your iPhone into your personal mobile driver’s logbook! Record your car journeys directly in Folio Cloud. Practical features help you to keep a constant overview of your entries.

Once journeys have been recorded they can no longer be changed or deleted. You can however, delete the most recent entry. This way the iOS App guarantees complete transparency and traceability.

Driver’s Logbook requires an activated Folio Cloud account. You can find the App here.

Library

The Cloud App Library helps you to manage your book lending. You can create as many libraries with as many media entries as you like and record each lending process individually. Tabs, colored in a traffic light system ensure a quick overview of the lending status of all your items.

Videoplayer

With the Cloud App Videoplayer you can manage your favorite YouTube videos in the Cloud, giving you a constant overview of all your favorites.

Simply copy the URLs from the web browser, save a new video in Folio Cloud and enter the URL – done! Particularly useful: with just one click you can then open a video directly from the Cloud in a separate, slimline play window.

Portfolio

With this Cloud App you can create portfolios and share them with other users. Set up, for example, an educational portfolio to document your academic career.
A total of seven categories are available to you in which you can create different types of portfolios: art, project, IT, sport, work, course and commercial.

School Manager

Whether for headteachers, administrators, coordinators or teachers – this Cloud App makes your day to day school administrative tasks easy – and for free!

All documents, preparations, reports or minutes clearly structured according to class or object and can be made available to relevant respective colleagues if needed. This enables the collective processing of materials, the standardized use of templates and the efficient re-usage of high quality information. Pupils can also be integrated into specific projects.
